NBA: Indiana 99, Charlotte 94

INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 13 (UPI) -- George Hill and Paul George combined to hit three free throws over the final 16 seconds Friday to wrap up Indiana's 99-94 victory over Charlotte.

The Pacers became the first team in the NBA this season to reach 20 wins and ran their home record to 11-0.

In a close battle from start to finish, Charlotte closed within two points on a layup by Al Jefferson that came with 2:15 to play.

The Bobcats did not score again, missing their final three shots. Hill hit two free throws with 16 seconds to go and George made 1-of-2 four seconds later.

Lance Stephenson scored 20 points and was one of six players in double figures for the Pacers. He also had 11 rebounds and seven assists.

Roy Hibbert added 18 points and David West had 14.

Jefferson led Charlotte with 21 points and nine rebounds. Both Kemba Walker and Ramon Sessions had 13 points for the Bobcats, who have lost two in a row.
