GREEN BAY, Wis., Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Aaron Rodgers has a small fracture in his left collarbone and the Green Bay quarterback will miss several weeks of play, reports said Tuesday.

Rodgers injured his left -- non-throwing -- shoulder during Monday's loss to the Chicago Bears. NFL.com and ESPN both reported Tuesday that the injury was a small fracture of the left collarbone. Neither named its source for the information.

It was unclear exactly how long Rodgers would be out but the reports indicated it would be at least three weeks.

Rodgers, who turns 30 in four weeks, has been selected to eh Pro Bowl three times in the last four seasons. He was voted the Super Bowl XLV Most Valuable Player after helping the Packers to a 31-25 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Feb. 6, 2011.

He has completed 1,920 of his 2,916 passing attempts for 23,879 yards and 186 touchdowns. Since Rodgers became the Green Bay starting quarterback in 2008, the team has a 57-29 record.

Seneca Wallace replaced Rodgers at quarterback Monday, completing 11-of-19 passes for 114 yards. The 27-20 loss dropped Green Bay to 5-3 on the season, which puts the Packers in a three-way tie for first in the NFC North.
