TORONTO, May 15 (UPI) -- Adam Lind and J.P. Arencibia both hit a two-run homer during Toronto's early offensive surge Wednesday, sending the Blue Jays past San Francisco 11-3.
Toronto scored 10 times over the first three innings, making things easy for starter Ramon Ortiz.
Ortiz (1-1) allowed a run on six hits in seven innings while the Blue Jays were capturing their fourth game in a row.
Lind hit his home run during a five-run first and Arencibia's came during a three-run second. Five of the 11 Toronto runs were unearned thanks to two San Francisco errors.
Ryan Vogelsong (1-4) suffered his third straight loss, having been roughed up for eight runs on six hits in two innings. The Giants lost both outings in the two-game series after having won three of four from Atlanta.
