NHL: Philadelphia 4, New York Rangers 2

PHILADELPHIA, April 16 (UPI) -- Steve Mason recorded his first victory as a Flyer Tuesday, stopping 38 shot for Philadelphia in its 4-2 win over the New York Rangers.

Mason, who lost his first two starts after being obtained from Columbus this month, turned aside 16-of-17 Rangers tries in the third period as Philadelphia kept its slim post-season chances alive with a second straight win.
