MONTE CARLO, Monaco, April 14 (UPI) -- Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany and Ukrainian Alexandr Dolgopolov were among Sunday's first-round winners at the Monte Carlo Masters.
Kohlschreiber, the 16th seed, eliminated Brazilian Thomaz Bellucci 6-4, 6-2 and the unseeded Dolgopolov dropped Australian Bernard Tomic 6-2, 6-4, winning 82 percent of his first service points.

Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria beat Belgian Xavier Malisse 6-3, 6-2.
