NBA: Philadelphia 100, Charlotte 92

PHILADELPHIA, March 30 (UPI) -- Jrue Holiday caught fire down the stretch Saturday, netting 11 fourth-quarter points to carry the Philadelphia 76ers over Charlotte 100-92.

Holiday's late surge gave him 14 points for the game to go with nine assists.

Evan Turner added 22 points and seven rebounds as the Sixers won a third straight. Spencer Hawes (19 points), Thaddeus Young (15, 10 boards) and Damien Wilkins (15 points) also reached double figures for Philadelphia.

They climbed to within six games in back of Milwaukee for the eighth and final Eastern Conference playoff spot.

Charlotte got 21 points and nine boards from Michael Kidd-Gilchrist but still tumbled to its 10th straight road loss.

Gerald Henderson added 19 points for the Bobcats.
