NHL: Los Angeles 5, San Jose 2

LOS ANGELES, March 17 (UPI) -- Kyle Clifford collected a pair of goals Saturday and the Los Angeles Kings evened their home-and-home series with a 5-2 win over San Jose.

Jarret Stoll provided a goal and an assist while Dwight King and Justin Williams also scored for the Kings, who bounced back after falling to the Sharks 4-3 Thursday.

Los Angeles goalie Jonathan Bernier stopped 20-of-22 shots.

Patrick Marleau scored his 14th of the season and Matt Irwin also tallied for San Jose.

Antti Niemi started in net for the Sharks but was pulled in the second period after allowing four goals on 18 shots. Alex Stalock then turned aside 5-of-6 tries.
