NBA: Phoenix 111, New Orleans 108 (OT)

PHOENIX, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Two free throws by P.J. Tucker with 5 seconds left in overtime gave Phoenix a five-point lead Friday and the Suns went on to down New Orleans 111-108.

The Hornets scored five points in the final 43 seconds of regulation to forge a 103-103 tie, but the New Orleans momentum did not carry into the extra period. New Orleans lost its sixth straight game and slipped to 3-8 for the season.

After Tucker hit his clutch free throws in overtime, Roger Mason made a 3-point shot to bring the Hornets within two.

Markieff Morris was fouled with a second to play and he made 1-of-2 from the line. A desperation 3-point attempt by Mason at the buzzer failed to go.

Morris led the Suns with 23 points and was one of six Phoenix players in double figures. Goran Dragic added 20 points and eight assists.

Ryan Anderson scored a season-high 34 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Hornets.
