ATLANTA, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- Brandt Snedeker joined Justin Rose atop the leaderboard after three rounds of the Tour Championship, firing a 6-under-par 64 Saturday to finish at 8-under 202.
Snedeker -- who came into the weekend in fifth place on the FedEx Cup points list -- used the performance to catch up with Rose, who carded a 2-under 68 at East Lake Golf Club.

Alone in third at minus-6 was Ryan Moore, who registered a 5-under 65.
Sharing fourth place one shot further back were world No. 1 Rory McIlroy (68), Bubba Watson (70) and second-round leader Jim Furyk (72), who was hurt by a triple-bogey on No. 17.
Tiger Woods -- second to McIlroy on the points list -- turned in a 3-under 67 Saturday, grabbing a share of seventh at 4-under 206.
