Olympic Medal: W Bal. Beam Gymnastics

LONDON, Aug. 7 (UPI) -- Deng Linlin of China won the Olympic gold medal Tuesday in the gymnastics balance beam event.

Another Chinese gymnast, Sui Lu, took the silver. After a judge's review, the bronze medal was awarded to Aly Raisman of the United States.

The American originally was judged to have finished fourth behind Romania's Catalina Ponor.
