LONDON, Aug. 6 (UPI) -- Aliya Mustafina of Russia won the Olympic gold medal Monday in the women's uneven bars gymnastics event.

He Kexin of China took the silver and Elizabeth Tweddle of Britain won the bronze.

American Gabby Douglas, winner of gymnastics all-around gold medal last week, botched her routine and finished last among the eight finalists.
