MLB: Toronto 15, Boston 7

BOSTON, July 22 (UPI) -- J.P. Arencibia drove in four runs and hit one of four Blue Jays homers Sunday in Toronto's series-sweeping 15-7 victory over Boston.

Arencibia's three-run blast in the second inning sealed the victory, putting Toronto ahead 8-3, while Rajai Davis (3-for-4, two RBI), Brett Lawrie and Travis Snider (three RBI) also went deep for the Blue Jays.

Yunel Escobar went 3-for-4 with two runs scored as Toronto banged out 18 hits to complete the three-game sweep at Fenway Park, during which they outscored Boston 28-11.

Henderson Alvarez (6-7) earned the victory despite surrendering seven runs on eight hits in a 5 2/3-inning effort.

Bosox starter Jon Lester (5-8) was lit up for 11 runs on nine hits over four full innings.

Adrian Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer and Jacoby Ellsbury added a solo shot in Boston's setback.
