LOS ANGELES, June 17 (UPI) -- Phil Humber overcame a rocky start Saturday and the White Sox bullpen came on to preserve Chicago's 5-4 interleague win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Humber (3-4) broke a personal two-game losing streak despite yielding four runs on nine hits over five frames. He walked two and struck out four.
Hector Santiago, Nate Jones and Jesse Crain came out of the bullpen to combine for three scoreless relief frames and Addison Reed pitched a 1-2-3 ninth for his eighth save for the White Sox.
Alexei Ramirez went 2-for-3 with a two-run single, while Alex Rios added two hits and an RBI as American League Central-leading Chicago evened its three-game series at Dodger Stadium.
Chad Billingsley (4-5) absorbed the loss, surrendering five runs (four earned) on eight hits over six full frames for the NL West leaders.
Jerry Hairston Jr., Bobby Abreu, A.J. Ellis and James Loney each drove in a run for Los Angeles.
