MLB: San Francisco 5, Texas 2

SAN FRANCISCO, June 9 (UPI) -- Ryan Vogelsong tamed the Rangers on one run over 7 2/3 innings Saturday, extending a personal hot streak in San Francisco's 5-2 interleague win over Texas.

Vogelsong (5-2) held his opponents to two runs or less for the seventh time in eight starts, allowing only three hits and three walks while striking out three.

Santiago Casilla earned his 16th save for the Giants, who evened their three-game series against the Rangers and improved to 7-2 in June.

Ryan Theriot drove in two runs, while Angel Pagan added an RBI for the victors.

Rangers starter Scott Feldman (0-5) gave up three runs (two earned) on four hits in a 5 1/3-inning effort.

Mark Napoli and Mitch Moreland connected for solo homers in the Texas loss.
