MILWAUKEE, May 22 (UPI) -- Hector Sanchez launched a homer in the 14th inning Monday, boosting the San Francisco Giants to a marathon 4-3 victory over Milwaukee.
Sanchez belted a pitch from Juan Perez (0-1) into the Brewers' bullpen in left field leading off the 14th, and the Giants held on to record a win in the first of a three-game series at Miller Park.

Buster Posey connected for a three-run shot in the first inning and Santiago Casilla (1-2) tossed two scoreless frames to earn the victory -- the fourth in five games for San Francisco.
Ryan Braun forced extra innings with a game-tying, two-run clout in the eighth for the Brewers.
Aramis Ramirez added an RBI as Milwaukee lost for the seventh time in nine contests.
