MLB: Atlanta 13, Colorado 9

DENVER, May 6 (UPI) -- Chipper Jones went 3-for-6 with five RBI Saturday and the Atlanta Braves rallied from an 8-3 deficit to stun Colorado 13-9.

The Rockies jumped off to a 6-0 lead after two innings and seemed to have the game well in hand when Wilin Rosario's two-run homer gave Colorado an 8-3 advantage in the fifth.

But the Braves scored five in the next inning as Matt Diaz (3-for-4) and Jason Heyward socked solo homers and Jones delivered a two-run single.

Jones contributed another two-run hit in the seventh as Atlanta scored four more times to put the contest away.

Cristhian Martinez (2-0) earned the win with a scoreless seventh inning and 16-year veteran Livan Hernandez collected his first career save after tossing the final 1 2/3 frames for the Braves, who clinched their three-game series at Coors Field.

Rosario later added another homer, Michael Cuddyer cracked a first-inning grand slam and Carlos Gonzalez went 4-for-4 with two RBI for the Rockies.
