NBA: Oklahoma City 115, Sacramento 89

OKLAHOMA CITY, April 13 (UPI) -- Kevin Durant touched off a late second-quarter surge Friday that sent Oklahoma City on its way to a 115-89 whipping of Sacramento.

The Thunder closed out the first half on a 22-6 run for a 19-point advantage at the break. They won for the third time in four games after losing three in a row.

Oklahoma City moved a full game in front of idle San Antonio at the top of the Western Conference.

Durant had 29 points and nine rebounds. Russell Westbrook added 22 points and Derek Fisher had 14 off the bench for the Thunder.

Sacramento lost its seventh straight game, getting 21 points from Isaiah Thomas.

Oklahoma City outrebounded the Kings by 17 and made 14 more free throws than did Sacramento.
