NBA: Oklahoma City 109, Milwaukee 89

MILWAUKEE, April 9 (UPI) -- Russell Westbrook fired in 26 points and Kevin Durant added 19 Monday, powering the Oklahoma City Thunder past Milwaukee 109-89.

Westbrook grabbed seven rebounds and Durant dished off eight assists to go with four rebounds as Oklahoma City continued its bounce-back from a three-game skid with a second consecutive victory.

James Harden contributed 16 points for the Thunder, who came into the contest trailing San Antonio by percentage points atop the Western Conference standings.

Milwaukee, meanwhile, dropped 1 1/2 games behind New York and Philadelphia in the race for the final Eastern Conference playoff berth with the setback.

Ersan Ilyasova netted18 points, while Monta Ellis was held to just nine points for the Bucks.
