MLB: Cincinnati 6, Miami 5

CINCINNATI, April 8 (UPI) -- Scott Rolen's infield single in the bottom of the ninth drove home the winning run Sunday and rallied the Cincinnati Reds to a 6-5 decision over Miami.

Trailing 5-4 entering their final at-bat, the Reds came back with a pair of runs off closer Heath Bell to take the rubber match of their season-opening weekend series.

Jay Bruce socked a solo homer to lead off the frame -- his second of the game -- tying the contest. One out later Drew Stubbs and Ryan Hanigan each singled and Rolen came up to pinch-hit for pitcher Aroldis Chapman (1-0).

He scorched a grounder to third baseman Hanley Ramirez, who couldn't handle it cleanly, allowing Stubbs to come home with the winning run.

Chapman tossed two innings for shutout relief to notch the victory.

Emilio Bonifacio had two hits and an RBI for Miami, which fell to 1-3 to start the season.

Carlos Zambrano, making his Marlins debut, yielded four runs on four hits over six innings.
