MLB: New York Mets 4, Atlanta 2

NEW YORK, April 7 (UPI) -- Lucas Duda bashed a pair of homers Saturday and the New York Mets logged a second straight win to start the season, 4-2 over Atlanta.

Duda hit solo shots in the fourth and seventh innings while David Wright also went deep for the Mets, who built off Friday's opening day victory with another triumph.

R.A. Dickey (1-0) held the Braves to two runs on five hits over six innings, overcoming four walks while striking out three.

Bobby Parnell and Jon Rauch each fired a shutout inning of relief and Frank Francisco finished up with his second save in two games.

Jair Jurrjens (0-1) absorbed the loss for the Braves, yielding three runs on seven hits in 4 1/3 innings.

Martin Prado socked a two-run homer for Atlanta.
