HOUSTON, April 7 (UPI) -- Lucas Harrell fired seven innings of shutout ball and J.D. Martinez drove in three runs for Houston Saturday in its 7-3 win over Colorado.

The second-year hurler tossed 64 of his 93 pitches for strikes.

Martinez blasted a two-run homer in the second inning after Jordan Schafer had socked a solo shot in the first, handing Houston a 3-0 lead.

Chris Johnson went 2-for-4 with two runs scored in the win -- the Astros' first of the season.

Jamie Moyer, making his Rockies debut, fell short in his bid to become the oldest pitcher to win a major-league game. His next victory will boost the 49-year-old lefty past a mark set by in 1932 by Jack Quinn of the Brooklyn Dodgers.

Moyer (0-1) yielded four runs (three earned) on five hits over five frames, walking and fanning two.

Michael Cuddyer socked his first homer for Colorado since coming from Minnesota as a free agent, and also added a double.
