Magic loses Turkoglu for regular season

ORLANDO, Fla., April 6 (UPI) -- The Orlando Magic announced Friday that forward Hedo Turkoglu would be lost for the rest of the regular season as a result of three facial fractures.

Turkoglu needed three stitches to close a cut below his right eye after he was accidentally hit in the face by New York's Carmelo Anthony in a game Thursday.

Surgery will be required Saturday to repair the fractures.

Orlando has lost five in a row and will be in action Saturday against Philadelphia.
