NBA: New York 108, Orlando 86

NEW YORK, March 28 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony and Iman Shumpert combined to score almost half of New York's points Wednesday, sending the Knicks sailing by Orlando 108-86.

Both Anthony and Shumpert had 25 points to pick up the slack created by the absence of both Amare Stoudemire and Jeremy Lin.

Steve Novak added 16 points and J.R. Smith had 12 for the Knicks, who have won eight games in nine outings. Baron Davis started in place of Lin at point guard and had 11 points.

Orlando was led by Jameer Nelson with 17. The Magic had won three in a row.
