CHICAGO, March 26 (UPI) -- Ty Lawson and Arron Afflalo teamed up for 49 points Monday and the Denver Nuggets cooled off Chicago 108-91.

Lawson put in 27 points, Afflalo added 22 and Al Harrington scored 17 for the Nuggets, who kept pace in the race for the Western Conference's eighth and final playoff spot.

The Nuggets used the victory to snap a two-game skid.

Eastern Conference-leading Chicago lost for just the third time in 18 games.

John Lucas III, Carlos Boozer and Kyle Korver each netted 14 points for the Bulls.
