BOSTON, Jan. 16 (UPI) -- Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook teamed up for 54 points Monday and the Oklahoma City Thunder held off Boston 97-88 for their seventh straight win.
Durant poured in 28 points and three of Westbrook's 26 came on a late 3-pointer that helped seal the Thunder's victory.

Oklahoma City got 12 fourth-quarter points from Thabo Sefolosha to hang on for the win and improve to an NBA-best 12-2.
Paul Pierce's 24 points wasn't enough to prevent the Celtics' fifth straight loss -- Boston's longest skid since the 2006-07 season.
