NHL: New York Islanders 4, Buffalo 2

UNIONDALE, N.Y., Jan. 14 (UPI) -- Michael Grabner's goal with 3:03 left in regulation Saturday broke a 2-2 tie and his empty-netter sealed the New York Islanders' 4-2 win over Buffalo.

Grabner fired home a loose puck in the slot after Jhonas Enroth had stopped P.A. Parenteau's initial shot on the decisive play.

Matt Moulson added a goal and an assist, and Kyle Okposo also scored for the Islanders.

New York benefited from two assists each by John Tavares and Parenteau. Evgeni Nabokov finished with 23 stops to record the win.

Enroth turned aside 35 shots.

The Sabres fell for the fourth time in five games despite tallies from Patrick Kaleta and Derek Roy.
