DOHA, Qatar, Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Jo-Wilfried Tsonga beat fellow Frenchman Gael Monfils 7-5, 6-4 in the finals of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open in Doha Saturday.

The third-seeded Tsonga held off Monfils in a match that was delayed 30 minutes by fog that made the court a little slippery.
