Chappell, Leonard knotted in Florida

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla., Oct. 22 (UPI) -- Kevin Chappell's 6-under 66 Saturday lifted him into a tie with Justin Leonard three rounds into the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Classic.

Leonard, meanwhile, managed a 2-under 70 to hang onto a piece of the lead with Chappell at 14-under-par 202.

Should Chappell hang on for the victory, it would be the first of his PGA Tour career while Leonard will be seeking to claim his 13th title.

Second round co-leader Bio Kim cooled off with a 1-under 71, dropping into third place at minus-13.

Henrik Stenson (72) saved par with an 11-foot putt on the final hole, retaining a share of fourth place at minus-12 with Nick O'Hern (70).

Webb Simpson strengthened his hold on first place in the race for the top spot of the PGA money list after ending the day at 10-under 206, with second-place Luke Donald one back at minus-9.

Donald needed a two-way tie for second or better to have any chance at passing Simpson for the money title.
