Cabrera-Bello up by 1 at Portugal Masters

VILAMOURA, Portugal, Oct. 15 (UPI) -- Rafael Cabrera-Bello bagged a couple of eagles Saturday en route to an 8-under 64 and a one-stroke lead at the Portugal Masters.

Cabrera-Bello also tuned in five birdies and a lone bogey to go to 18-under 198 for the tournament and a shot ahead of Christian Nilsson and Felipe Aguilar.

Aguilar bogeyed the 17th hole and missed his chance to claim a share of the lead heading into Sunday's final round.

Cabrera-Bello, who is looking for his first European Tour victory, came out on top of a roller-coaster round that saw seven different leaders. Seven players finished within three shots of Cabrera-Bello.

Cabrera-Bello started fast with a birdie-birdie-eagle sequence on the front nine and then carded an eagle and a birdie on the back nine to take the lead.
