MLB: Pittsburgh 4, Cincinnati 3

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 24 (UPI) -- Jason Jamarillo capped a three-run third inning with an RBI single Saturday and the Pittsburgh Pirates went on to post a 4-3 win over Cincinnati.

The Pirates scored three times in the third to grab a 4-1 lead, with Andrew McCutchen and Ryan Ludwick delivering sacrifice flies before Jamarillo drove in Neil Walker (3-for-4) with a run-scoring hit.

Josh Harrison went 4-for-5 with a run scored for Pittsburgh, which clinched its three-game series with the Reds.

Brad Lincoln (2-3) earned the victory after allowing two runs on six hits over five innings, while Jason Grilli picked up his first save since 2009 in the ninth.

Cincinnati's Travis Wood (6-6) absorbed the loss, surrendering four runs on seven hits while lasting just 2 2/3 innings.

Joey Votto went 2-for-5 with a pair of run-scoring doubles for the Reds.
