MLB: Pittsburgh 4, Cincinnati 3

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 24 (UPI) -- Ryan Ludwick's one-out single in the ninth inning Friday brought home Chase D'Arnaud from second to give Pittsburgh a 4-3 decision over Cincinnati.

The Reds rallied from a 3-0 deficit and tied it in the top of the ninth when Joel Hanrahan hit Todd Frazier with a pitch with the bases loaded. Hanrahan (4-1) then got Dave Sappelt on a fly ball to center to prevent further damage and became the winning pitcher when the Pirates produced their run in the bottom of the inning.
