SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 11 (UPI) -- Chris Wondolowski and Ramiro Corrales scored Saturday, leading the San Jose Earthquakes to a 2-0 win over Chicago that ended their 13-game winless streak.

Wondolowski scored in the 10th minute when he one-timed a pass from Rafael Baca past the Fire's goalkeeper, Sean Johnson.

The score remained 1-0 until the 69th minute, when Wondolowski slipped the ball into the box for Corrales, who booted it past Johnson for the insurance goal.

San Jose is now within two points of Chivas USA in eighth place in the West..

Chicago fell into a three-way tie for last place in the East.
