MIAMI, Sept. 7 (UPI) -- R.A. Dickey baffled Florida for seven scoreless innings and Lucas Duda provided the only RBI Wednesday in the New York Mets' 1-0 whitewash of the Marlins.

Duda gave New York all the offense it would need with a first-inning RBI double.

Mets reliever Manny Acosta hit Mike Stanton with two outs in the ninth, but then retired Greg Dobbs on a grounder to collect his first save of the season and secure New York's 10th win in 13 games.

Florida's Brad Hand (1-6) absorbed the loss, allowing one run on three hits and four walks over six innings.
