Foster shoots 68 for share of Walker lead

AUCHTERARDER, Scotland, Aug. 27 (UPI) -- Mark Foster eagled the ninth hole at Gleneagles Saturday to take share of the lead at the Johnnie Walker Championship with Ignacio Garrido.

Foster finished the third round with a four-under 68 and leads the tournament with Garrido by three shots at 11-under 205.

Five players, including American Anthony Kang, shared second place with 208 for the tourney.

Garrido led after two rounds and shot 69 Saturday to stay atop the leader board. He and Foster will be looking for their first European Tour victories since 2003.

Foster, meanwhile, eagled the par-5 ninth, a hole he had bogeyed the day before.
