NEW YORK, Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Yovani Gallardo tossed seven solid innings and Prince Fielder drove in a pair of runs Sunday in the Milwaukee Brewers' 6-2 victory over the New York Mets.
Gallardo (14-8) held the Mets to two runs on six hits, walking one and striking out six for the National League Central-leading Brewers, who completed a three-game sweep at Citi Field and took their 22nd win in 25 contests.
The right-hander broke a personal two-game winless streak by throwing 61 of his 97 pitches for strikes.
Fielder drove in runs with a sixth-inning single and a tie-breaking infield grounder off Manny Acosta (1-1) in the eighth.
Ryan Braun went 3-for-5 with an RBI double for the victors.
Mets starter R.A. Dickey went seven innings, limiting the Brewers to two runs on six hits.
Lucas Duda belted a game-tying, two-run homer in the seventh for New York.
