MLS: Vancouver 4, Chicago 2

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Aug. 7 (UPI) -- Eric Hassli scored twice Sunday, including a goal in the match's first minute, sparking the Vancouver Whitecaps to a 4-2 win over Chicago.

Hassli's early goal gave the advantage to Vancouver, but the Fire responded with an equalizer from Dominic Oduro in the 23rd minute.

The tie didn't last long, however. Vancouver immediately responded, going ahead for a second time in the 24th minute after Gershon Koffie ripped a shot that found its way past diving Fire goalie Sean Johnson.

The Brazilian player Camilo made it 3-1 in the 48th and Hassli added his second tally of the game in the 72nd for Vancouver (3-11-9), which halted six-game winless streak.

Orr Barouch also scored for Chicago (2-7-13).
