After Hassli tied it in the 61st minute, Wondolowski missed a chance to win it when his header hit the crossbar.

The tie boosted San Jose (5-6-9) in front of Chivas USA for sixth place in the Western Conference.

Vancouver (2-10-9) is mired in last place and is without a road win in nine tries this season.
