ARLINGTON, Texas, July 3 (UPI) -- Logan Morrison smacked a go-ahead, two-run double in the eighth inning Sunday, boosting the Florida Marlins to a 6-4 interleague win over Texas.
The Marlins scored four times in the eighth, erasing a 2-1 deficit, then hung on to take the rubber match of a three-game series against the American League West leaders.
Bryan Petersen led off the frame with a double off Rangers starter C.J. Wilson and, after Mark Lowe (2-2) came in to pitch, Hanley Ramirez drove him in with a score-tying single.
Darren Oliver then took over on the mound and Morrison greeted him with a two-run double. Mike Stanton capped the rally with a run-scoring single and the Marlins improved to 6-6 under interim Manager Jack McKeon.
Mike Dunn (5-5) earned the win in relief of Javier Vazquez, who yielded two runs on six hits over six innings.
Wilson surrendered only one earned run on five hits through 7 1/3 innings for the Rangers.
Adrian Beltre and Nelson Cruz each went 3-for-4 with solo homers for Texas.
