DENVER, June 15 (UPI) -- Chris Iannetta's three-run homer in the sixth inning was the big blow in Colorado's 6-3 win over the visiting San Diego Padres Tuesday.
Iannetta's ninth homer of the year broke open the game and helped halt the Rockies' three-game losing skid.
Juan Nicasio (2-1) earned the win in his fourth major league start with two runs on six hits and nine strikeouts over six innings.
The Rockies erased a 2-0 San Diego lead with three runs in the fourth inning on RBI by Todd Helton, Ty Wigginton and Charlie Blackmon.
Wade LeBlanc (0-2) was recalled from Class AAA Tucson earlier in the day and wound up with a loss for his trouble. LeBlanc gave up three runs on seven hits in 4 2/3 innings.
The Padres, who have lost four of their last five, got an RBI from Cameron Maybin, who played his second game since a 15-day stint on the disabled list. Chris Denorfia led off the game with a home run.
