REGINA, Saskatchewan, June 9 (UPI) -- Former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor will not talk to the NCAA about allegations of rules violations, his lawyer said.

Attorney Larry James Thursday also confirmed Pryor, who led the Buckeyes to a 31-4 record in three years as a starter, hopes to play professional football next season but is not interested in the Canadian Football League. Talks with the Saskatchewan Roughriders apparently fell though.

Pryor said Tuesday he would not return for his senior year at Ohio State. During his college career he passed for 6,177 yards with 57 touchdowns and 26 interceptions and rushed for another 2,164 yards for 17 TDs.

The NCAA is investigating current and former players in OSU's football program, and head Coach Jim Tressel resigned May 30.

Pryor, who had foot surgery in January after he was injured in the Sugar Bowl victory over Arkansas, cannot sign with an NFL team as long as the lockout is in effect, but he could enter the NFL supplemental draft.
