MINNEAPOLIS, May 29 (UPI) -- Mark Trumbo blasted a ninth-inning homer that proved to be decisive Sunday in the Los Angeles Angels' 6-5 victory over Minnesota.
Trumbo belted a pitch from Twins reliever Jim Hoey into the second deck in left field leading off the ninth, handing the Angels a 6-3 lead that they would need to hold on for a win in the rubber match of a three-game set.
