MLB: Baltimore 8, Washington 3

BALTIMORE, May 21 (UPI) -- Nolan Reimold's two-run homer led Baltimore's 14-hit attack Saturday and the Orioles spanked Washington 8-3, evening their three-game interleague series.

Reimold's blast in the third inning erased a 2-0 Nationals lead and triggered a four-run uprising that put the O's ahead for good.

Nick Markakis, Vladimir Guerrero and Matt Wieters each contributed two hits and an RBI as Baltimore avenged a 17-5 pounding from the Nationals in Friday's first game.

Jeremy Guthrie (2-6) didn't allow an earned run over seven innings in posting his first win since April 1. The O's right-hander yielded five hits, walked one and struck out four.

John Lannan (2-5) absorbed the loss after surrendering six runs on nine hits through six frames.

Wilson Ramos collected the Nats' only RBI with a ninth-inning sacrifice fly.
