NHL: Boston 3, Philadelphia 2 (OT)

PHILADELPHIA, May 2 (UPI) -- David Krejci netted the game-winner in overtime Monday and Boston took a 2-0 lead in its conference semifinal series with a 3-2 win over Philadelphia.

Nathan Horton intercepted a Flyers clearing pass at the right point and sent the puck to Krejci as he was cruising into the slot. The Bruins center one-timed the rolling puck high over the shoulder of Brian Boucher 14 minutes into the extra frame for the game-winner.

The referees initially didn't signal a goal after the puck bounced back out but a video review upheld the tally and the Bruins completed a two-game road sweep to start their Eastern Conference semifinal series.

Boston's Tim Thomas turned aside 52-of-54 shots while raising his all-time record in Philadelphia to 8-0.

Chris Kelly and Brad Marchand scored first-period goals for Boston.

The Flyers got a pair of goals from James van Riemsdyk and Brian Boucher made 32 saves.
