MLB: Baltimore 6, Chicago White Sox 2

CHICAGO, April 30 (UPI) -- Chris Tillman tossed five innings of one-run ball and Vladimir Guerrero drove in a pair of runs Saturday in Baltimore's 6-2 win over the Chicago White Sox.

Tillman (1-2) yielded one run, scattering six hits and two walks for the O's, who have won the first two contests of a four-game series against the struggling Chisox.

Michael Gonzalez hurled two shutout innings in relief of Tillman to secure the Orioles' fourth win in five games overall.

Guerrero's two-run single highlighted a four-run eighth during which Brian Roberts scored on a passed ball by Chicago catcher A.J. Pierzynski and Luke Scott added a sacrifice fly.

Phil Humber (2-3) absorbed the loss despite pitching well. He surrendered only three hits in seven innings, letting in two runs while walking one and fanning five.

Alex Rios drove in runs with a solo homer and a sacrifice fly as the White Sox dropped their fourth straight and 15th in 19 games.
