MLS: Houston 4, D.C. United 1

HOUSTON, April 29 (UPI) -- Rookie Will Bruin produced a hat trick Friday that boosted Houston to a 4-1 decision over D.C. United.

United (2-4-1) has allowed eight goals in two games and has dropped three of its last five.

Bruin scored in the 4th minute, but Marc Burch tied it in the 39th minute. Bruin scored again just before halftime and then finished the hat trick in the 56th, helping extend Houston's unbeaten streak to six games.

The Dynamo advanced to 3-1-3 for the season.
