MLS: New York 4, D.C. United 0

WASHINGTON, April 21 (UPI) -- Thierry Henry scored in the 12th and 38th minutes Thursday to lead Red Bull New York to a 4-0 blanking of D.C. United.

New York (3-1-2) won a road game for the first time this season, having failed to score in its two previous away contests. The win pushed New York into first place in the Eastern Conference.

D.C. United (2-3-1) suffered its first shutout of the campaign.

Henry produced the fourth and fifth goals of his MLS career and assisted on a goal by Joel Lindpere. Juan Agudelo finished the New York scoring.
