MLB: Toronto 6, Texas 4

ARLINGTON, Texas, April 25 (UPI) -- Corey Patterson, Jose Bautista and Juan Rivera all homered in the fifth inning Monday, powering the Toronto Blue Jays to a 6-4 victory over Texas.

Patterson launched a three-run shot with two outs off Colby Lewis (1-3) and Bautista, the next batter, made it back-to-back blasts with a solo homer to give the Blue Jays a 4-0 lead. After Adam Lind drew a walk, Rivera completed the big inning with a two-run clout and Toronto went to take the first of a four-game series.

Kyle Drabek (2-0) earned the victory, yielding three runs on five hits over six innings, while walking a pair and striking out two.

Jon Rauch notched his fourth save despite surrendering a ninth-inning solo homer to Nelson Cruz.

Yorvit Torrealba hit a bases-empty shot among his two hits and Michael Young added two hits and an RBI for the Rangers, whose three-game winning streak was snapped.
