MLB: Atlanta 9, San Francisco 6 (10 inn.)

SAN FRANCISCO, April 24 (UPI) -- Nate McLouth hit a tie-breaking, two-run single in the 10th inning Sunday, lifting the Atlanta Braves to a 9-6 win over San Francisco.

The Braves loaded the bases with one out in the top of the 10th against the Giants' Brian Wilson (0-1) before McLouth lined a hit up the middle, scoring Chipper Jones and Dan Uggla to put Atlanta ahead 8-6.

Brian McCann added an RBI single off Dan Runzler in the decisive rally, which enabled the Braves to complete a three-game sweep of a series in San Francisco.

Atlanta blew a 5-2 lead when the Giants scored four runs in the seventh to take a 6-5 lead. But the Braves forged a tie when Uggla smacked a solo homer in the top of the eighth.

Justin Heyward went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer for Atlanta.

Eric O'Flaherty (1-1) picked up the win with two scoreless innings and Jonny Venters pitched a scoreless bottom of the 10th to collect his first save.

Buster Posey hit a two-run shot and Aaron Rowand drove in a pair of runs with a seventh-inning double for the Giants.
