MLB: San Francisco 4, LA Dodgers 3

SAN FRANCISCO, April 14 (UPI) -- Solo home runs in the sixth inning by Pablo Sandoval and Mike Fontenot helped the San Francisco Giants beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-3 Wednesday.

Fontenot drove in a run with second-inning double and Aubrey Huff went 2-for-3 and drove in a run for the Giants. Jonathan Sanchez (1-1) got the win, allowing three runs on seven hits with two walks and nine strikeouts over six innings.

Dodgers' starter Ted Lilly (1-1) gave up four runs on seven hits with two strikeouts and no walks over six innings to take the loss.

Rod Barajas hit a two-run homer for LA, which lost for the third time in its last four games.
