NEW YORK, April 11 (UPI) -- Troy Tulowitzki's two-run homer highlighted an eighth-inning uprising for the Colorado Rockies, who posted a 7-6 win over the New York Mets Monday.
The Rockies scored three runs in eighth to break open a 4-4 game. They took the lead when Dexter Fowler scored from third base on a wild throw home by Mets reliever Bobby Parnell (0-1) while trying to field Carlos Gonzalez's infield grounder.
The next batter was Tulowitzki, who pummeled a pitch into the left field stands, helping the Rockies to their seventh win in nine games.
Gonzalez finished with three RBI and Jonathan Herrera added two hits and a run scored.
Matt Belisle (2-0) notched the final two outs of the seventh inning to pick up the victory and Huston Street collected his fifth save with a scoreless ninth for the Rockies.
David Wright homered and drove in two runs and Willie Harris added pair of RBI for the Mets.
